Grav-racer flying stands

Last weekend the boys and I played a racing game that was a lot of fun and something a bit different to boot.  One thing I wanted to do was make some flying stands for the grav-racers. So with the aid of a length of thick acrylic, some possum spikes, clippers, superglue, a tin can and a handful of N50 magnets, four flying stands were born.  I'll call them adequately stable, not great.  One idea that I might yet pursue is replacing the magnets with two bits of lego to make for quick changes.  Who knows, I may well be playing another game of Berman racing soon...
