The Kader Machesky Part IV (Bezpin Campaign)

Fury Road Baby!
The Australia Day long weekend is traditionally devoted to the cleaning of sheds and pursuit of one's hobbies - well at least around my house it is.  I leapt into the fray with an ruthless attack of my shed, the catalyst being in part my wife's donation of about 10 cubic metres of Tupperware.  The Tupperware had to be packed away, so I used the opportunity to cull some of those bits-and-bobs that had collected in the dusty corners of my man cave.

Like many such explorations, it was largely thankless, grinding, dusty work but a few treasures were uncovered that will be put to good use.  For example, this little beauty that was sourced from one of Charlies Police trucks.

Yes, a bullbar and winch on a spaceship - now if that doesn't scream the Imperium of Man, I don't know... wait, I suppose some skulls or Eagles would be more appropriate.  Quibbles!  It will be cool and that's what counts.  I am actually intending to magnetise it because I can so that it can be added/removed from the front of the KM at my whim.

That particular Truck's canopy also provided a building that has been used in many a game over the last year or so - like the 'farmhouse' in the Battle at the Farm - all-in-all, a toy that just keeps on giving.  This is how I think  I'm going to employ it on the Kader Machesky:

I've also commenced working on a superstructure.  Taking some inspiration from wet navy battleships etc and after a rummage through my bits box, I've arrived at the following for a start:

Apparently these balls are Pokemon cages!

I've sized it such that the superstructure can be repositioned along the deck.

I'll throw some more bits-and-pieces and with a coat of paint, it is sure to look a treat.  Again, this particular piece will be removable, allowing me to transform the KM as needs dictate.  Tomorrow I hope to have the superstructure pretty much done, so with a bit of luck, there'll be some further painting and another photoshoot.
