The Kader Machesky Part III (Bezpin Campaign)

Not much of an opportunity to do anything material today, what between chores, shopping with the family and leaving for a work trip (writing this in Melbourne Airport as it happens), I was only able to sneak in a hour tops.  I dusted off my airbrush for the first time this year and commenced laying down some layers of paint.

The only mistake was my orientation: I had intended to make the undersides green and the upper surface yellow. On well, no harm done

Presently it is looking quite cartoon-like, not the least because of the paint's gloss. I am thinking a liberal application of washes will tone things down no end - that's the next angle of attack.

  1. It's looking great so far. The rainbow effect really sets it apart from the typically standard single colour paint jobs you see on vehicles.

    1. Thanks mate! Yeah, real Rainbow Warrior look at present. As I mentioned, I'll almost certainly tone it down some, but if it ain't going to stand out, why have it on the table huh? ;-)
